Upcoming courses in IRC's online training courses for building sustainable systems and services
IRC is offering several online courses to give water, sanitation and hygiene professionals and practitioners from international agencies, donors and NGOs an understanding of the key elements of delivering sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene services.
Currently IRC is offering four online courses for participants to sign-up to:
The Costing Sustainable Services course is a three module course which has been developed to assist governments, (I)NGOs, donors and individuals to plan and budget for sustainable and equitable water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services, using a life-cycle cost approach.
The Sustainability Monitoring Framework course has been developed by IRC together with the Wash Alliance International (WAI) to assist WAI partners and professionals in general to assess the enabling environment on likelihood of sustainable WASH Service delivery. This should lead to design and adaptation of design of interventions and activities leading to full sustainable WASH services and behaviour. Currently the course is still under development and can be joined by invitation only, but the future ambition is to open up the course for everyone who wants to join.
Participants can still register for the Costing Sustainable Services course modules. On the indicated dates 150 participants can start the course by registering online. Starting date is:
After registering online, participants receive login details and a password to access course materials from the preferred starting date of the course. From the starting date participants follow the course at their own pace by logging in and following the module(s) of their choice. The course material guides participants through the modules and exercises completing them at your own pace.
Participants for the Sustainability Monitoring Framework course can register by invitation only.
